Following an ancient tradition, 13-year-old witch Kiki leaves home to live independently for a year. Accompanied by her black cat Jiji, she settles in a seaside town and starts a delivery service using her flying broomstick. As she tries to find her place in her new community, Kiki must overcome loneliness, self-doubt and the challenges of growing up.
