This new lineup from the Comédie-Française in cinemas will feature the successful play « 20 lieues sous les mers, » adapted from Jules Verne's novel by Valérie Lesort and Christian Hecq. The fantastic story will enchant the whole family on the big screen.
Next, the Comédie-Française troupe takes on "Cyrano de Bergerac" in a new production by Emmanuel Daumas, bringing Edmond Rostand's tale of love and bravery to the cinema.
And for the first time on the big screen, Comédie-Française presents Shakespeare's "Macbeth." This fascinating and bloodthirsty tragedy, a theatrical heritage monument, will be live-streamed from the Salle Richelieu to conclude in the 23/24 programming, in a new production directed by Italian director Silvia Costa.
