Will Hunting, a janitor at MIT, has a gift for mathematics but needs help from a psychologist to find direction in his life. After a run-in with the law, the brilliant but troubled young man is forced to study mathematics under the supervision of a professor and attend therapy sessions. It is through his relationship with Sean Maguire, a soulful therapist, that Will finally begins to confront his past traumas and realize his true potential.
